Questions worthasking.
Every answer is complete on this page, not a stub behind a link. Ask us anything that is not here.
Money

Do you publish earnings information?
No. The VETS Franchise Disclosure Document does not contain an Item 19 financial performance representation, so we do not publish, imply or discuss revenue, profit or owner pay anywhere — not on this site, and not in a sales conversation. A franchisor may only make financial claims that appear in Item 19 of its FDD. VETS is a young franchise system, and an Item 19 needs the operating history across enough locations to have a reasonable basis; the investment page says where that work stands. Until then, the way to evaluate the business is to read the FDD, talk to existing owners directly, and build your own model from real costs.

What are the royalties?
Royalties and every other recurring fee are disclosed in Item 6 of the Franchise Disclosure Document, and the investment page reproduces the approved figures in full. We do not quote fees in conversation that differ from the FDD.
Support
-
What does VETS provide?
Item 11 of the FDD sets out exactly what the franchisor is obligated to provide. In practice that means onboarding with the corporate support team, system and technology setup, two weeks of training, help getting your truck and trailer on the road, access to the national accounts program, and ongoing support from corporate staff and the founder.
Eligibility
-
Do I have to be a veteran?
No. VETS was founded by an Army veteran and is led by veterans, and the values come from that. Ownership is open to veterans and to people closely connected to the veteran community — spouses, family, and civilians who share how we operate.
The work
-
What is my day-to-day actually like?
Early on you are on the truck. You are quoting jobs, hauling, going to the landfill, and doing the admin at night. As you hire and the routes fill, the job shifts to running crews, holding standards, and winning commercial work. Owners who expect to skip the first stage tend to struggle; owners who expect it and plan for it do not.
-
Can I run this remotely?
Not at the start. This is a service business with trucks, crews and customers in one metro, and the first year needs you present. Owners who intend to step back build toward it by hiring a manager and proving the systems first.
-
What is the end goal?
Building a business with a team and real enterprise value, not buying yourself a job. That is the distinction worth pressing on with any franchise you look at: whether the model still needs you in the truck in year five.
Territory
-
Can I own more than one city?
Territories are sold one metro at a time, and most owners start with one. Additional territories are a conversation once the first is operating well. What rights you have to a market, and what you do not, is defined in Item 12 of the FDD.
The company

How long has VETS been franchising?
VETS started in Charlotte in 2020 and has been franchising for several years. It is a young system, and that cuts both ways: fewer owners to validate with than a national brand, and more direct access to the people who built it. Item 20 of the FDD lists exactly how many outlets exist.
Next step
Let us talkabout your market.
Tell us where you are looking. We will tell you straight whether the metro is open, what it would take, and whether we think it is a fit.
A person replies, usually within a business day
Not an autoresponder sequence, and not a call centre reading from a script.
Fourteen days with the FDD, minimum
Federal law gives you at least that long before anything can be signed. We treat it as a floor, not a target.
We will tell you if it is not a fit
Both directions. We are deciding too, and we would rather say so early than waste a year of yours.
PENDING COUNSEL. This is not an offer to sell a franchise. An offer is made only by a Franchise Disclosure Document, and only in states where VETS is registered or exempt.
